Blizzard was able to crack open the champagne again this weekend after World of Warcraft emulated its Stateside success with massive first-day sales in Europe.
According to figures released by the developer, the subscription-based MMORPG sold more than 280,000 units on day one - more than it sold on its first day in the States - before sales rose to 380,000 by the end of its first weekend on sale.

Games for Health Conference Showcases Modified Guitar Hero, Video Game Therapy2009-09-24The fourth annual Games for Health Conference will be showcasing the expanding role of video games in the Health profession. Video game technology is being applied in the field for rehabilitation, training and to encourage exercise.
Some highlights of the conference will be familiar to most gamers. A new version of Activision’s Guitar Hero is being introduced, which will be used in the rehabilitation of arm amputees. The results of studies based on the “Corrupted Blood Syndrome” form Blizzard’s World of Warcraft are also being presented.

Blizzard, Squenix take action 2009-08-13It seems that cheating within online games still abounds as both Blizzard and Square-Enix take steps to stop naughty gold farmers and gil traders in their tracks.

too +40 healing (+20 on eh ring) is2009-06-05I just swapped over to ehanting too. +40 healing (+20 on eh ring) is ne. Plus, you don't have to go find an ehanter everytime you get new gear. I previously had BS, and also found itouldn't really do squat for me. For making money - Herb or Mining.
